Douglas J. Hendricks, MD, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in Appleton, Oshkosh, North Fond du Lac, and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Dr. Hendricks graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he majored in biology. He then attended the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. After graduating, Dr. Hendricks completed his internship in internal medicine at the UW Health University Hospital in Madison and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Hendricks works with his patients to accurately diagnose and effectively treat their pain utilizing non-surgical measures such as physical therapy, medications, brace prescriptions, chiropractic referrals, and injections. If surgery is an option, a discussion with or referral to one of their outstanding surgeons can be arranged. Dr. Hendricks also has training and expertise in electrodiagnostic testing.
Dr. Hendricks has over 24 years of experience and commitment, which allows him to help hundreds of patients each year improve their quality of life and physical function. He takes time to carefully listen to each patient’s concerns to help pinpoint the cause of their pain before thoroughly discussing all diagnostic and treatment options.
Dr. Hendricks lives in the Fox Valley area with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys maximizing time with family and watching his beloved Packers and Badgers.
