Robert Limoni, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in both Appleton and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Specializing in joint replacements, Dr. Limoni brings his extensive expertise to lead our newly launched service line: Hip & Knee Solutions at NeuroSpine Center.
Dr. Limoni attended Marquette University for his undergraduate studies and then completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His internship and residency were completed at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then returned to Wisconsin where he spent the first two decades of his practice in Green Bay, reaching many milestones along the way.
In 2009, he was the first surgeon in Northeast Wisconsin to perform anterior hip replacement. This was a major turning point in his career, as he was able to elevate the level of care offered to local patients. In 2021 Dr. Limoni performed the very first FDA-approved augmented reality total knee replacement in the U.S. Dr. Limoni also co-founded Match Grade Medical, a Wisconsin-based surgical equipment company that develops high-quality positioning devices to enhance safety and precision for orthopedic surgeons. He has also co-authored several surgical publications and was named one of the top 70 knee surgeons in the country by Becker’s Healthcare.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Limoni enjoys managing wildlife on his property in Door County and spending much of his free time outdoors.
