William Bodemer, MD

William S. Bodemer, MD, is a board-certified fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in treating degenerative and traumatic disorders of the entire spine. He serves patients at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, with offices in Appleton, Oshkosh, North Fond du Lac, and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. 

Dr. Bodemer graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in chemistry. He then completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. 

After graduating, Dr. Bodemer spent a year at The Texas Back Institute outside of Dallas, where he completed a dedicated spine fellowship. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.

At NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, Dr. Bodemer performs multiple procedures, including microdiscectomy for lumbar disc herniations, cervical and lumbar decompression, and fusion utilizing anterior and lateral approaches and vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty for spinal fractures. He also has experience with spinal cord stimulators and performs motion preservation procedures using artificial disc replacements.
