Amanda Greene, MD

Amanda L. Greene, MD, is a board-certified fellowship-trained pain medicine physician at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in Appleton, Oshkosh, North Fond du Lac, and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. At the practice, she's committed to providing multi-modal pain management treatment to her patients to maximize their quality of life and improve their functional status.

Dr. Greene is a Midwesterner through and through. She majored in biology and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She then attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where she found a passion for helping patients in pain.

After graduating, she completed her residency in anesthesia at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, where she was able to follow patients through their entire hospitalization, addressing both acute and chronic pain needs. Her fellowship was then completed in pain medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

At NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, Dr. Greene works to accurately diagnose and effectively treat the cause of her patient’s pain. Special consideration is given to conservative approaches with options including medication management, procedural interventions, and referral to further specialists, including physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and more. Dr. Greene also uses neuromodulation, including spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation.

She strives to educate her patients on their disease process and encourages them to participate actively in their care. Because of that, Dr. Greene works not only with patients who have spine-related pain but pain from many causes, such as complex regional pain syndrome, postherpetic neuralgia, cancer-related pain, joint pain, peripheral neuropathies, phantom limb, amputation, post-stroke pain, and more.

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children! They love exploring the local communities and parks!
