Marie A. Walker, MD

Marie A. Walker, MD is a board-certified physiatrist who specializes in spine conditions as well as other neurologic and musculoskeletal disorders. She strives to listen to patients’ concerns, provide accurate diagnoses, educate patients on their condition, and involve her patients in the decision-making process regarding treatment options. She prescribes physical therapy, medications when needed, performs office injections and EMG/Nerve conduction studies. Injections she performs include peripheral joint/bursa injections, carpal tunnel injections, trigger point injections, and Botox injections for spasticity. She refers patients to her colleagues when appropriate for fluoroscopically-guided or ultrasound-guided injections and/or surgical evaluation.

Dr. Walker is a native of the Fox Cities and graduated valedictorian of her Neenah high school class. She graduated summa cum laude from UW-Eau Claire, majoring in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. She attended medical school at UW-Madison and completed her residency program at Mayo Medical Center in Rochester, MN.  She is double board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Walker has over 17 years of experience in medical practice. She worked at a spine clinic in Rockford, IL before joining NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in May of 2021. She enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary environment where all providers work closely together to provide the best care for our patients.

Dr. Walker has two sons in the Kimberly School District.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, and gardening.
